Shri Krishna Janmashtami.... Laddu Gopal

The festival of Janmashtami is celebrated eight days after the full moon to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, he was born on the 'Rohini' nakshatram, He is considered an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Shri Krishna gave us the essential message through Bhagwat Geeta to everyone. This is the holy book of Hindus, the essence of Gita helps us live a good and settled.

Kansa locked up his Sister and her husband named Devaki and Vasudeva, and murdered their first six progeny. The seventh, Balarama, was amazingly saved, and the eighth was Shri Krishna, who was rescued and delivered into the hands of Vasudeva’s friend Nanda baba.

Krishna was followed by mother Yashoda, Krishna had great love for his foster-mother Yashoda and their relationship stands as a great example for the love between a mother and her child.

Raksha Bhandan Festival

Dear Friends,

Today, I finished work early and write this post and saved in my drafts, this post is all about Raksha Bandhan, it is the festivals of Brother and Sister. We celebrated this in the month of August (Shravana). The day is called Naryati Purnima in the coastal regions of India.

Also, the very important day for Brahmins. This is called “Rishi Tarpan” or it is known as “Shravani Ceremony” they change the holy thread called “Janeyu”.

The “Janeyu” represents adherence to traditions. Rakhi is a Sacred Thread embellished with sister’s love for their brothers. Sister ties rakhi on the brother wrists and express he true love and bless. Brother gives her gift and promise to take care of her for life long.

Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu Festival and celebrated mostly in North India. There is no restriction for Blood relation in this beautiful and trustful festival. You must know about the story of Rani Karmavati and Baadshah Humayun is most popular story in Indian History.

This is all about values of Brotherhood

and self- perseverance.

Find the Raksha Bandhan coloring page for children and enjoy.

Wish you a Happy Weekend!!!

Take Care!!!

Always do respect yourself!

Happy August to All!

Monday, First Day of August!

I'm a people pleased............ I always try to make everyone happy and comfortable without thinking about the result to my own. "My nature is like that only" So many times I hurt myself to make happier others… I get satisfaction seeing everyone happy, but it hurt me when nobody tries to understand , I helpfully explained to myself that … now won't hurt myself to please others.. But I think there is guilt on my own.

I always pleased to everyone but unable to pleased most important person … guess……….. It’s me only, really interesting, isn’t it? You know friends what I feel, if we want to be respected by others then the first step is to respect yourself.

“Mahatma Gandhi” said -- They cannot take away our self-respect if we do not give it to them.

I am thinking a lot for this topic.

What you do at such cases???????????????

Anyway I’ll busy myself with kids and crochet.

Other than that, nothing is new, will get back to you soon with my new project.
